Message from the Principal
Be sure to mark exam days on your calendars: January 29 to February 4. They are a little later than usual due to our very late start in September. Exam schedules are coming out shortly and students should be starting to think about preparing for the exams. Ms McGeachy is offering a Test Anxiety Workshop on Monday, January 18. Students can sign up for it in the guidance office.
On January 14 our grade 11/12 drama class will be presenting a play "Among Friends and Clutter" at 7 pm in Gym A/B. Please accept this invitation to join us for this exciting performance. The grade 10 drama class did a presentation at Walkerton Public School on Monday as part of their culminating tasks.
School Council will meet on January 18 at 7 pm in the Library. All parents are welcome to attend. School Council is a great way to stay connected to the school without your kids feeling like you are watching them! Please call me if you have any questions about School Council.
The plans for the new school are nearing completion. A public meeting will be held later in February to present drawings and plans to the public. Watch for details coming soon.
