Message from the Principal
WDSS will be introducing a new Specialist High Skills Major in Energy: Environment and Resource Management beginning in September. This new program is an opportunity for students to connect their classroom learning to important issues in the real world. Presentations will be made to students in the fall with more information about the program and how to sign up.
Not long now until the new school year begins. Link Crew leaders are participating in training sessions in preparation for the grade 9 orientation day on Sept. 7. All other students will return to classes on Sept. 8. The office is open next week for those who wish to register or adjust timetables. Thursday, Sept. 2 is a professional activity day, so all staff will be involved in activities and will not be available for appointments.
